About us
Storybook Stud are breeders and trainers of Champion Miniature Horses.
We specialize in Harness Training and Competition for both miniature horses and ponies. We are available to train your mini for harness work, prepare them to compete in harness and show them if required.
Harness lessons can be arranged using the Storybook horses and vehicles, or your own horse.
Horses trained at Storybook Stud include the winners at most major shows and miniature events in Victoria, New South Wales and New Zealand. They include our own Champion Mare Grawood Rio Rita (Hi point Led & Harness Pony ), Cedar Brooks Delightful Dolly (imp USA and winner Melb. Royal '95, '96, '97), Pindari El Cordobe National Grand Champion In Harness (unbeaten record) and our delightful pinto pair - Woodlyn Minstrel and Shellron Ronette (Best Novice Harness Exhibit Dandenong Show 1999, Mayoral trophy for Concours D' Elegance 2002).
We have also trained many other miniatures which are now successfully competing throughout Australia & NZ- Winners Circle Spirit of Buckeroo(imp), Glenmar Park Dom's Magic Man, Southern Cross Chauncy's Little Apache, Heartlands Dakota Gold (imp), Bar L's Golden Rod (imp), Willmin Bronze Chaudiere and numerous others.

Storybook Stud is also involved in breeding Riding Ponies.

Our current foal from the lovely chestnut mare Dresden Ballerina (sire: Willowcroft Explorer) is a long awaited gorgeous palomino colt by the lovely stallion Goldmine Silver Destiny.
Agistment
We also provide agistment services for all types of horses and ponies from Thoroughbreds to Miniatures.
We have first rate facilities, with a large stable complex with warm water wash, round yard, a 65m by 25m sand arena and many well-grassed, lush paddocks, with shelter for your horse or pony.
